ABOUT ME
Hi there! My name is Caroline Stief and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the field for 5 years. Like many who find themselves in helping professions, my love for Social Work was born out of my passion to help others in their time of need. Through a variety of professional experiences ranging from Case Management and Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Care to School-Based Counseling and, most recently, diving into the world of Outpatient Therapy- I’ve developed a deep passion for guiding fellow social workers as they work towards achieving their LCSW. I specialize in General Mental Health, with a particular emphasis on Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, working with individuals ranging from 'tweens' to adults.

EXPERIENCE
With a diverse background in mental health and social services, I have gained extensive experience working with various populations across multiple settings. In my role as a School-Based Counselor, I lead the Student Assistance Program, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess student needs and implement targeted interventions. In conjunction with seeing clients for Outpatient Therapy, I am emersed in the clinical world.
Previously, as a Masters Level Therapist in an Eating Disorder Unit, I conducted comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment interventions, providing individual and group therapy sessions while coordinating aftercare. I have also worked in acute psychiatric settings, formulating individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic groups, and supporting discharge planning.
My earlier experience includes supporting families through eligibility assessments for childcare services and providing behavioral support to children and young adults in educational settings. Throughout my career, I’ve consistently demonstrated a commitment to helping individuals navigate challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward positive outcomes. Now, I’m eager to help you do the same in the clinical supervision setting!
